Your First Book

Have you started reading any of the books yet?  I just got done with Because of Mr. Terupt, by Rob Buyea. It was a great book - I highly recommend it! The author wrote the story from lots of different perspectives, so it was fun to read about the same situation from different students. I think I might want to read the other books - Mr. Terupt Falls Again and Saving Mr. Terupt.

A Great Hopkins' Start

This year was the very first year for Hopkins to compete in Battle of the Books and it was a great start!  Both 4th and 5th graders got involved and we had five teams of five!  We had some intense competition and some amazing teamwork.  We are proud of all of our team members.
